A full grown skunk eats about 14-15 calories a day per pound of bodyweight. If your skunk is overweight you will want to cut this amount down slightly to help them lose weight. Using a food scale and weighing your skunk's food will help to ensure you are not overfeeding them in terms of calories. Since skunks are prone to obesity I suggest keeping your skunk active, feeding them multiple meals a day, and using a baby scale to keep track of their weight.
The following table has approximate calorie counts for some of the popular foods that skunks eat. Note that these are calculated using calorie counting sites online and are not a guaranteed calories amount, only approximate. The actual calories may vary by brand. If your item has nutrition information on it it is best to calculate the calories yourself to make sure the amount is correct.
